March 16, 201313 yr Lunardi has UK playing UVA in the play-in game as of 10:24 this morning. He's had it that way since Friday. Does he have the winner playing VCU?
March 16, 201313 yr Lunardi has UK playing UVA in the play-in game as of 10:24 this morning. That's good news ... only because I will take that loss in the play in game over watching NIT games.
March 16, 201313 yr I just checked. Lunardi has UK/UVA as 12's & the winner playing St. Louis. Gonzaga the #1 seed in that bracket. I'd take that every day & twice on Sunday.
March 16, 201313 yr I thought you said UK plays UVA in the play-in? Sorry. Didn't read your question correctly. St Louis
March 16, 201313 yr Crazy how people are so upset with one down year out of four. Cal's first season brought extreme excitement to the program. That was the best team in college ball that year. They just happened to have a really bad night in the Elite 8. His second season was possibly my favorite team. Rough start to the season, but pulled it together and got hot for a run to the Final Four. Of course last year's team was amazing. I think I can handle a down year every 4 years or so. Also, let's not forget that this team lost their best player. Freak injury had a huge impact on the remainder of the season. On other boards and comment sections, I have seen people legitimately questioning Cal's approach to coaching and recruiting because of this season. I don't even have words to describe how insane that is to me. Most of the Cats fans that I know are upset with this team are more upset with their perceived lack of heart. If this team appeared to play hard every play and show up for all 40 minutes I bet the heartburn wouldn't be so bad.

They never got a grip on what to do. They always look confused on the offensive end. They always end up making bad choices and taking bad shots. It is hard to just play with heart and energy when you are thinking too much and just trying to figure out what you should be doing.
March 16, 201313 yr I don't know Lunardi's history but I'd say the last four in and last four out are basically toss ups when it comes to selection Sunday.

I can't recall seeing a group this uncoachable before.

March 16, 201313 yr New update from Lunardi. He now not only does not have UK in "last 4" he doesn't have them in "first 4 out."
March 16, 201313 yr New update from Lunardi. He now not only does not have UK in "last 4" he doesn't have them in "first 4 out." I assume that means that UK is out for sure, not in for sure.
