If UNC wins they win the ACC this locking up an automatic bid. Which takes away another spot in the field.

 

Apparently your the one who doesn't get it. UNC was not even close to a bubble team they are in the tournament, and so is Miami. So it didn't matter who won because one would get the automatic bid, and the other would get the at large. Had zero effect on any of the bubble teams. Now the Mississippi game does have some impact, and now I would be very surprised if UK gets in. The field is probably set now.
