I'm a big fan of Martin. I honestly think he was Ballard's best player this year but the high school game is so revolved around good guard play, Snider gets a lot more pub. (Don't have a problem with that, he is really good too)

 

Snider came into the season riding a HUGE wave of publicity from his domination of the summer leagues. There was nothing that could have stopped the wave of popularity he was riding after that.

And for the most part he has backed it all up. He's easily my favorite player in high school basketball right now.

Carson Williams...kid is a stud. Was ranked top 25 in the country by Futures 150.

I was impressed by him the one time I saw him. Agree he was probably top 5 in his class this season. The sophomore year is when a lot of players really break out, because unless you are a superstar, or play on a weaker team, most freshmen don't get a lot of opportunities to shine at the varsity level (and unlike Dow, most don't have the body for it yet). It will be interesting to see what sophomores-to-be break out.

Both Williams and Dow play for the same 15U AAU team - Hoop Dreams based in Lexington. Very strong team. Our pre-season ranking is 13th nationally. Both players are very, very good!
