If you feel he should be added to the list then make your list and show where he is. Brossart lost a ton and have a couple of studs with Norton and Verst left. They might have had 1 kid left from that incredible team last year along with those 2 that got starting time on the varsity team. I don't know if at this point that would be considered a huge win based on what I mentioned above. Not taking anything away from him, but how battle tested is he? JMO!

Nick Davis had his second quality start and gets the win for CCH in the 13 - 3 win over NCC.......You have to add his name to the list.

Depends on how you define battle tested......Not much HS Varsity experience due to what these seniors have been behind the past two years, but high quaity summer ball experience, extra training with quality instructors..........

.....oh yea......and a "fearless, Bulldog" mentality on the mound that will serve ALL of us very well as he heads off to the Marines after HS.

65 pitches is fairly efficient.

.....oh yea......and a "fearless, Bulldog" mentality on the mound that will serve ALL of us very well as he heads off to the Marines after HS.

We should also mention that Davis' wins are against Brossart and New Cath......opponents matter as well.

Football has definitely helped his pitching. He has put on a lot of muscle since last year and its really helping his pitching. If he can keep his head out of his game then he will do big things this year.

Dunn for Cooper was on his game today. First game of the season and was only going to pitch 2 innings and faced the minimum 6 batters, no hits given up and Cooper won 3-1.

I was able to catch two Beechwood Baseball games today. Varsity played at Highlands and Jason Suchanek pitched the first Varsity game of the year. He threw a complete game and only gave up one run. He also hit a home run.

Then i went back to Beechwood and saw the JV team play Scott. Nick Hyde pitched the first JV game of the year. He threw 4 innings while giving up 1 hit and no runs. Kyle Rowe finished the jv game with 2 innings and 2 runs.

I couldn't stay for the second varsity game but Varsity won 2 games today, JV one 1, and the frosh won 1. Beechwood is looking good all around.
