Kuebbing got clocked at 89 at a showcase in the summer. That's why he is going D1.

Where is he going?

Kuebbing from st Henry is a righty also hitting around 90 with a decent curve. Already committed to longwood university in Virginia. Rose, the lefty from st Henry also got an offer from st Catherine

NOT EVEN CLOSE TO 90 LOL

he was clocked at 89. where are you getting your facts? "lol"

he consistently hits 84-86 on the gun but has been clocked at 89 at his best. wont consistently hit 89 but sure has the arm strength to get it up there

Well sonny I am a scout for a small local school and my facts came right off my radar gun.

84 Is more realistic. And there is a HUGE differance in 84 and 90

Camron Faehr as a fresh last year won 6 games for the varsity team at Boone.

so you were at every single game that Kuebbing pitched? over the summer, he was clocked at 89. i do not think that, that "small local school" was there for every game. he is going d1 so that's pretty good and ask him if you want. he will tell you he has been clocked at 89.

Getting clocked at 89 does not mean he throws 89 consistently or even near that. I got clocked at 88 my senior year but threw 83- 84 most of the time. Also, some guns are faster than others. Does anyone really believe Chapman threw 105 in San Diego? Lets' put it this way, the young man throws harder than most in the 9th region if he's in the mid 80's.

If he is throwing harder than most in the 9th region, and has a consistent 86 mph fastball with a good curve, then why isnt he top ten in the region?

No I was not at every game. But I seen enough to know his fastball is between 82-84 in a game situation.Just because someoone can throw a ball 89 1 time in a bullpen session does not mean he throws 89 in a game situation.I have him as fastball 82-84 with a better than average off speed pitch between 74-76.You obvious have some loyality or bias to the young man so my opionon may be less tainted than yours.

if you read one of my above posts i said that he will consistently hit 84-86 but has been clocked 89

As I stated I have clocked him myself his fastball tops at 85 with a consitant range of 82-84 from pitch count 35-50.My notes have nothing of a fast ball anywhere near 90 sorry but that is not accurate info. That being said the young man is a quality pitcher non the less.I have him rated a notch below Brown from Lloyd in that district.
