A couple of big time dunks... One ally-oop Omar caught and slammed was spectacular. Then a second dunk that was a break away where O took off from one stride inside the free throw line. I thought he left from too far out... nope.

I think the Indians can make some noise at Rupp. Hope they do.

Wallking out of the gym last night and the young coach from Scott walks up to one of Montgomery County assistants who was talking with a group of people and says " coach here is the the scouting reports of the teams we played this year that have already made it into Rupp, go win the whole thing." One parent from Montgomery says "that's first class". Good luck to Montgomery County next week, they were the best team in the region all year and they will represent the tenth region well next week.

Congratulations to coach Carr and his seniors on making it this far. Best of luck to Eric, Nick and the rest of the Scott senior class.

First a big congratulations to Scott on a great season, and Nick Jackaon on a fabulous career. He is one of my favorite players from recent times.

 

Also, congratulations to Montgomery Co on their first region championship since 1995. They won every region game (regular and postseason) by double figures.

 

Does anyone know if there was an all tournament team? They didn't announce one after the game.

Had not seen Scott play until regional tourney, very nice team! Very impressed with Nick Jackson, loved his energy, passion, and ability to do it all!

 

Also liked the sportsmanship displayed by both sides of the Fieldhouse, as BOTH SIDES gave Nick Jackson and Omar Prewitt standing ovations as they left the court! :thumb:

Yep! If you look at the last 20 years its been mostly Mason and Clark. Mason has had home court advantage every year but a few and Clark is just a huge school. Year in year out Clark should have the most talent. They are the biggest school in the region.

I knew that Mason and Clark Co. had been on top for the last decade. I'm a Paris High alumni so the 10th region is my backyard!

Congratulations to the Indians. They are a very good team and very good at every position. They will represent the 10th very well down at Rupp.
