If they broke local law could they be re-arrested by local authorities? I guess DHS was paying some sort of fee for detainment and this saves that fee. But if the local authorities do not care 'who pays' it seems they could be re-arrested. And DHS should be able to help since they supposedly know where they are.

Wow a figure of speech, but I would rather be robbed than killed, which is what the newspaper probably allowed when it listed the location of gun owners. How many released were sex offenders?
March 9, 201313 yr This is Obama's sequester so he will have to deal with the problems. By the end of it he will have blood on his hands. He had plenty of time to get this country going in the right direction and has failed. So this is what we get. He still wants to put more people on the government dole than get them off. Federal regulations on just about everything is handcuffing businesses and citizens. He has weakened our national security with his immigration and foreign policies. All he has to do is cut 2.3% from federal spending. In the business world this would be a dream. He will not win in the long run. How about the 52 million people that voted for him pay for his racking up of the national debt.

A few from both sides went with this deal about 18 months ago if we did not come to an agreement, people on both sides. There is a reason congress has such a pathetic approval rating, it can't get much lower, which is why Obama is such an easy target, he can go either way while congress really can't get any lower. This crap will continue until people wake up and realize that it's not one party or the other, it's all of them. We are idiots to keep re electing them as most fear election someone from an opposing party. We are a nation of idiots when it comes to sending people to DC. How in the world did Thurman keep getting elected? Was well into his 90's, his time passed long before he did, he was out of touch and should have been canned 20 years before he died. Same with several others, including McCain!
