March 14, 201313 yr Why are they not detained, and then sent back to the country of origin? I believe mainly because they were being held for serious crimes - not just being in the country illegally. So they were to be processed in the normal criminal system, possibly (probably?) to serve time for the actual crime or at least completing the criminal justice process before being deported. ICE basically knowingly freed likely serious criminals.

Ship them back upon conviction, finger print them, DNA sample them, and send them back home. Bill Mexico, or wherever for our trouble.

I do not buy that they just want to ban some guns, I think these guys don't want you or I to own any firearms. I think most of the gun owners out there think the same thing, it explains the panic buying that's been going on for months now.

Of course, we only have one side, so we don't really know. However, it would be a giant stretch to say that this was the result of any policy of President Obama.
