Had a horse burger in France. Pretty good though it didn't taste like beef.

At a Scott- Brossart game a few years back, the Eagles student section chanted "Mustang meat is good to eat" - so it must be true.

I would like to try it.

 

Heard it was same as buffalo meat.

 

Cat is good, eat it all the time a Fayette Mall when they give out samples at Chinese booths.

Pig, very nasty, but bacon is great as is pork tenderloin.

 

Ask any old time farmers and they'll tell you that a Chicken is the nastiest animal on the planet. My great grandfather farmed all of his life. I only knew him for about 10 years before he passed, but never ate Chicken. You could have served him horse manure or chicken, he'd probably have at least given the horse manure more of a thought.

I'm not going to lie, I could never do it, and it's 100% an emotional thing for me.

 

I eat beef, but when I was a little girl, my grandparents had a Jersey named Dearie who I adored, and made a pet. Eventually she was too old to give milk, so they sent her to slaughter. I arrived at my grandparents house and can't find Dearie, and ask them where she is. My grandmother is slicing a roll of bologna at the time. She looks at me and says, "She's right here", pointing with her knive to the roll of bologna. I have never eaten another bite of bologna.

 

All in all, I'm REALLY glad I never got too close to any of their Angus they raised for beef. I did make a pet of the bull, but he was the stud, so he was safe. :lol: Oh....and none of their pigs. I'd have lived an unfulfilled life without bacon!

I will eat anything if it taste good.
