Just Jim Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 6pm boys girls played after them at 7:30 Stuhr played well Boone had some chances at the end but missed a few close shots (contested)
dixievb07 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 What does that tell you about your program when the boys game is first?
hoops5 Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 What does that tell you about your program when the boys game is first? It means that the boys played prior to the girls at 6:00, followed by the girls game at 7:30? :idunno:
Clyde Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 What does that tell you about your program when the boys game is first? It doesn't say anything other than Title IX says that girls get primetime as well as boys.
madman Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 What does that tell you about your program when the boys game is first? That's quite common. I've seen it several times this year.
JustADad Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 It probably was reversed last year or will be next year. I have seen this before. No big problem.
fullcourt Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 It doesn't say anything other than Title IX says that girls get primetime as well as boys. That's why you play the JV and don't schedule games with the girls. Watching girls play is similar to watching paint dry.

Well I'd argue you haven't seen enough good girls teams play. I watched Conner and Ryle put up about 70 points each in a fun game to watch.
Big Fundamental Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 It means that the boys played prior to the girls at 6:00, followed by the girls game at 7:30? :idunno: Yep. What's the big deal?
