Well, if Urban wasnt a Highlands fan he is now... And according to Dale, Urban has known who Highlands was since the early 80's when he was at Cincy.

 

I talked to Dale tonite at a BB game and he was floored by how much Uban knew about Highlands as a KY football power.

 

I know all the Haters will love this but I will quote the College legend as I was told tonite.

 

"Highlands without question runs the best off-season conditioning and weight program in the nation""I have been all over the US and have seen every Fl, TX and CA HS and nobody does it better then Highlands"

 

All I can say is WOW!!!

 

Take it and spin as you want but I think this is a big plus for KY HS Football, jmo.

Urban may have been there to meet the HS legend Dale Mueller but he was specifically there to talk to Seth Hope.

I too have contacts within his family. You are probably right. Ohio State was there to build a relationship with HHS. But, just so you know, this was not the first visit, or second, or third for that matter, visit by Ohio State to talk with Seth. Good for him! Great football player and great student! Ohio State is not the only program interested in his services....I applaud Urban and Kerry for making the rounds and including NKY in those rounds...I agree with Sweep as well, he will likely be a linebacker in college. Standup Defensive End is a possibility, but he has the size and speed of the prototypical linebacker.

Urban is a smart guy, his staff is familiar with the programs in KY that matter. That's the bottom line.

I'd also be cautious in saying young Seth "talked" to them. I'm certainly no NCAA expert but I think that would be a no-no.

I agree to an extent.

 

However, Seth is a Brent Grover type kid that will play at the D1 level. My guess is in the BIG like many other Highlands players have played.

 

I have been around Highlands my whole life and I know one when I see one and Seth will be one of those guys...He has a physical build that screams D1:thumb:

Wow rob, I mean I hate Ohio State as much as the next hater, but when a HHS player is involved, I look to support him. But hey, no biggie, I will just say I'm glad for Seth and his family. Hopefully this is just the beginning. This is will be a great time for him and his family. Lets enjoy it with them. Just sayin!
