Most Under-rated players in NKY (All Grade Levels)

Featured Replies

Some underclassman I'd mention are:

Pangallo-NCC

Franzen- CC

Kuntz-SK

Kunstek- St. Henry

Schreck- Dixie

Morrison- SK

Moeves & Moeves- Walton

Lamblez- Conner

Just to name a few.... Sure there is plenty more.

I agree on Morrison from SK but not on Kuntz. His play just hasn't justified being on this list.

I felt like he did a solid job when SK had some injuries early in the year. He appears strong, athletic, and appears to have that toughness that Steiner demands. He hasn't scored a ton from what I've witnessed, but does some of the little things.

On the subject of SK, is Noah Robinson underrated? Or, just not talked about as much because he is playing with a bunch of upperclassman. A nice player in my opinion. Going to be very good under Steiner I think.

Most underated player:

My Son - every team has one

Every team has 12-20 (JV & Varsity)

Saw T Krohman light it up last week in his Little Pioneers game at SK. The apple didn't fall very far- and he's only in 1st grade. Add him to your most under-rated 1st graders.

I know it may not be Northern Kentucky proper but a kid that deserves mention is Aaron Gibson of Pendleton County. Very quick guard who has a knack for just making big plays.

I was going to mention Gibson if someone else hadn't already. He definitely deserves some pub for his aforementioned quick hands and knack for making big plays.

Kuntz has limited playing time but leads the team with blocked shots he has 35 not bad for a guard.

Again on St Henry's Darius Meiman.....big scoring and very tough on defense:

Darius Meiman from St Henry. He has really been turning up the heat for the Cru, stepping out of his comfort zone, playing aggressively and scoring big!
I think I'd add Niko Carter (Lloyd to the conversation).

Niko joined the 1000 point club tonight. I love watching him play! Niko is a team leader who displays a special bond with his teammates.

Alex Trentman (one of the most athletic bigs in the area, great rebounder & improving scorer) and Drew Burns (big, strong, underrated post moves, strong rebounder) of Brossart don't get enough mention with the above kids. I'm another that wouldn't consider Schulte, Holbrook, Carter and Barnes really "under-rated"? Also agree with Crim, Seibert & Pauly.

Totally agree on Trentman and Burns. I only saw Brossart once this season way back at the beginning. So many very good players on Brossart, all playing so well as a team.

You could certainly throw in Ben Uebel on that team, who seldom gets any notice--PG who quietly runs these team very efficiently, plays well against the frequent press, plays solid "D", and scores when needed.

Id go with chames form holmes he is developing into a solid big man that can defend the paint very well...... he averages 3 blocks a game plus he is a player that plays above the rim

He really is nothing special. Thanks Mr.Kuntz for your input though!
