Very athletic isn't my first thought when asked to describe Pearson but agree he plays hard.

Walter, I agree with Chames, but he is starting to get lots of respect now. Asher, Josh Felts I feel should be in the top ten list so I agree with you on that one

I'd also add Jordan Noble of St Henry,

I just came back into this thread to post this exact same thing. You beat me to it. Plus he's had the same haircut for years lol.

Indeed.

I really like him and Conner Kunstek of St. Henry. Kunstek is only a soph but will be a player for the Cru over the next 2 years.

They really do have a good solid group of boys. Nick Rectin is a solid player too. I wonder how good that team could really be next year if Will Rueholt (*sp) would of stayed instead of transfering to Conner. They are a pretty young team with their Juniors this year.

I know it may not be Northern Kentucky proper but a kid that deserves mention is Aaron Gibson of Pendleton County. Very quick guard who has a knack for just making big plays.

Glad you mentioned him. Cody typically goes unnoticed on these threads and he's a tough-as-nails dependable player. There's a lot of great talent in the 9th this year, but he's one that sticks out big time with me. If I'm a coach, I gotta have a player like him.

Also, with over 1400 career points, I'd like to give an honorable mention to Covington Latin's Mitchell Blewitt. I realize that some will question this, but with his double-double career average... I say that's nothing to sneeze at.

I placed him in this thread and not the "Best Seniors" thread because of his age, and to also point out that he's accomplished all that he has at such a young age playing for Latin.

Great call!!! I didn't name him because I didn't think he should ever be considered as underrated but you are correct you don't hear about him a lot. I'd put him as one of the top players in the area period.

Another vote for Riley Barnes from SK. One of the quickest shots I've seen in a while.

I'd also add Jordan Noble of St Henry,

Agree, his performance in the All A regional against NewCath was AWESOME.

I don't agree. I think Schulte is very much appreciated and a player opposing coaches put in their game plan to stop. Jake's ability to alter shots and rebound at both ends of the court has been awesome.

Personally I believe Pangallo and Siebert don't give enough credit. Pangallo's ability to handle the ball against the pressure he has faced this year is just as important than scoring. His play has given Bueter the ability to get in better scoring positions to help the team. Lately Pangallo has been much more aggressive on the offensive end and it makes NCC even harder to guard.

Seibert's defense in the All A was incredible. Nothing that shows up in the stats or paper however I'm sure his team knows and preciates his role.

IMO NCC is really playing team ball and they don't win the state if everyone doesn't step up like they did this weekend.

Go Breds!!

I'm a buyer of what your sellin'. :thumb:

Some underclassman I'd mention are:

Pangallo-NCC

Franzen- CC

Kuntz-SK

Kunstek- St. Henry

Schreck- Dixie

Morrison- SK

Moeves & Moeves- Walton

Lamblez- Conner

Just to name a few.... Sure there is plenty more.
