When did Magoffin's coach resign/get fired?

I thought there was a thread saying he wasn't coming back? :confused:

For those of you counting at home, that's 25 schools who will have a new head coach in 2006. 51 schools hired a new coach in 2005.

Scribe, could you put together a similar list, of schools and coaches that were new in 2005 and their record for that year? I would do it, however I don't have access to the information.

The brought Massie on late to run the offense for Bourbon this last year. Never gave Coach Dalstorm the support he needed. Seems like they winning isnt something they want. I guess the one title they have is enough.

 

Wasn't he just there for one game and then left them high and dry? If they are not going to give anyone the needed support then they will have a hard time getting an quality coach,and that must be whats happening.

Does anyone know the status of the Magoffin position? If there has been no change, I will take them off the list.

If I'm not mistaken, the thread I saw this week was an old one from last year. Not sure but that is the only thing I've seen lately.

In anyone hearing anything about the Madisonville opening. They are only two years out of a regional final appearance aren't they. Why can't they keep a coach.

I know Shawnee doesn't get a lot of ink or anything but I did read where they hired a guy that I think will do a really good job.

 

Jason Hawkins is 30 and his father, Dennis, was the longtime coach at Clarksville (Ind.). I met Jason several years ago when he was an assistant at Iroquois and he was helping his father for years.

 

He's a good young coach so good luck to Jason!
