January 11, 201313 yr Same for the bulk of coaches. However, all their ego's need massaging and they believe greener pastures are out there. I do think it would be funny if a coach at some point was hired and said, "This is not where I want to be. I really have my sites on a bigger position with more money than you can offer. I am just using this as a stepping stone to bigger and better things you cannot give me." Would be a lot more genuine than Butch Jones saying he grew up singing Rocky Top... :lol:

Not really, he left the other two high and dry in a very cowardly manner. We'll have to see how he leaves ND. If he leaves amicably, can you blame him for taking an NFL job?

No, I don't particularly blame him. I just really get a kick out of the griping that we've seen at his past organizations...and that regardless of circumstance, I think will happen if he leaves Notre Dame right now.
January 11, 201313 yr Multiple reports indicating the Eagles met with Brian Kelly after the BCS Championship. Jay Glazer indicates the team has "legitimate interest" in Kelly, who is currently out of the country. The Scoop
January 11, 201313 yr If Kelly leaves Notre Dame to go to Philly, he's making a big mistake IMO. Either way, we will see what happens soon.
