That's insane; what in the hell was Shannahan thinking, if he ever was?

Great job, risk the next 10+ years of your franchise for a wildcard playoff game. RG3 is a franchise changer and you risk that? Next year the skins should've been a contender. 2 superstar rookies with Morris and RG3 and then get Garcon back healthy, they'd be looking good. I think Cousins will eventually be a lot like Matt Schaub

Again, RGIII wanted to be out there. Why is this on Shanahan? When Cutler said he couldn't go and took himself out of the game we ripped Cutler. RGIII keeps telling his coach he is fine and keeps going out there and now it's Shanahan's fault? Whatever.

I'm not placing blame on anyone but this isn't good for RG3. I know it's a partial tear and not a full tear, but that is not good at all. AP is the exception, not the rule. I could care less about the Redskins, but I sure do hope RG3 doesn't lose what makes him special because of this.

This is a shared responsibility. RG3 has to be smart enough to know what to do. Shanahan has to be smart enough. Does Washington have a GM? He needs to be smart enough.

Lots of blame to go around.

I blame no one. Injuries happen in football. Every game.

Shanahan can make the decision. He's an idiot for risking the future of his star QB who they traded several draft picks to acquire.

So Shanahan is a doctor and when his star QB says he's fine he is supposed to know how serious it is?

The Dr. didn't clear RGIII. He said he shouldn't have been out there. Shanahan chose to ignore the Dr. It absolutely falls on Shanahan.

False. The doctor cleared RGIII the week after he sat out.

When RGIII initially injured it he wouldn't let the doctors evaluate it and he went back into the game. After the game he was evaluated and he wasn't cleared the following week and Cousins beat the Ravens. After that week RGIII was cleared to play and has been every week since then.

Shanahan 'lied' about the doctors evaluating it when he initially injured it. Dr. Andrews said RGIII wouldn't let him see it.

I'll believe Dr. Andrews over a guy like Shanahan. He has zero reason to lie, while Shanahan has tons.

And Andrews is the one who said he cleared RGIII to play after he didn't clear him against the Ravens. The lie is about when RGIII initially injured it the week before the Ravens. And based on the fact that RGIII refused to come out of the game how do we know he is 't the original liar to Shanahan? How do we know he didn't tell Shanahan that he was cleared when RGIII was the one avoiding the doctors?
