I didn't see any official say it beat the clock. I think they go to the clock to make the decision. It's not like the NFL where they make a call and THEN go to the clock.

If that is the case I have a lot less of a problem with the call. I believe 99% of us are under the impression they went to the monitor having ruled the shot good and based upon the evidence overturned the call. But you are saying that is not the case?

I saw the the replay where they did it on photo shot at a time. At .1 it was in his hands and 0.0 it was in the air.

Correct. They use the monitor to get it right (in their opinion) vs using the monitor to only see if they were obviously wrong. Again, all they signaled was that the 3 point shot went in. No "count it" was made. It's the safe way out now since they know they're going to the monitor anyway.

I think it was the safe way because of where they were reffing the game as well. In Colorado I think they would have gone the other way.

I think they are. In high school you never work with a lighted backboard so I'm not intimately familiar with it.
