Thats not mediocre.

I agree. I'm in your boat.

Luke Salmons from Cabell Midland on line 1?

Why would he leave the gig he has now? After getting to the state title game? Something he will be hard pressed to do at Ashland.

Money?

Absolutely correct Ram. Coach Hart always carried himself with class, at lest with everything that I ever saw or heard/read from him. I wish Coach Hart all the best in the future as well as I hope that Ashland will find a good coach to follow him. I feel certain they will. The Ashland football coaching job would be a very good one. As you said, I am sure they have a very good idea of who they want to continue the Tomcat winning tradition.

Cant be that big of a difference can it?

I have missed you on here, Oldrambler!!!!!!!

My two sons played for Coach Hart. Between the two of them, I had a son on the team for the first 7 of Hart’s 10 years at Ashland. I watched practices, games, film, and I’ve been in his home. I saw a lot of Coach – through good times and bad.

Leon is a good football coach and a good teacher. More importantly, he is a good man. He made a positive impact on his players and students. He will be missed by many – including me. I wish him all the best.

Congrats to Coach Hart and best wishes with his parents health. In my 15 or so years coaching around 1/2 KY + Huntington Coach Hart is one of the classiest coaches I've met.

Coach Love + Coach Tackett are two great coaches on that staff!
