Of course right now they are not close at all. But with Brett's natural athleticism and work ethic that we have seen in football and track, he would be tough to stop for anyone.

 

No need to compare Brett and Todd. They are both great players, but even more important they are great kids on and off the court. It is a shame that Brett couldn't work out his differences with Coach L. He would have been a great assest to the Colonels, but he isn't the first player to be in this situation. Brett has a true passion for football and it's tough to give Coach L 100% when you're involved in other sports. Kurt Bovard is managing right now to juggle football and basketball, but it did take him a while to work himself into the starting lineup. Kurt belongs in the starting 5. :thumb:

DMZ76 great idea! You lead the way! Recreating an intermural league at HHS would benefit so many kids. Once your out of the 8th grade there's not many rec leagues available unless your a so-called AAU stud.

I can remember playing against Coach Barr. Now he could really throw an elbow! It was a blast and kept everyone in good shape.

I think there is an intramural league at Highlands. My son was asked to play in it just last night.

I know that there are some juniors who start play along with alot of the seniors who played (some starters) in the league. It is only 11-12 but I have heard that they are some sophs that play. They play on Sundays and I think its in the middle school gym.
