Trent is playing in his last Army game. He has been the starting qb since his freshman year and has broken many Army scoring/rushing records. Not bad for a player who got little attention in hs. Please don't hijack this thread by bringing up other players that you think are better. Let's just congratulate Trent.

I remember reading that Trent is the only Army QB to ever start four Army/Navy games. Second in the entire series (a Navy QB did in the 80s). I may not be a Purple, but I'm proud of Trent as well. He's represented Bowling Green very well.

He left it all out on the field today. It was pretty hard to watch his emotions after the game. Some producer somewhere is dead inside for keeping a camera on him the whole dang time.

Most television producers are heartless anyway. It's how they got the job in the first place.

My heart goes out to this young man. But isn't he exactly the kind of man we want leading other young men in the service to our country.

Did Steelman start all three seasons at Bowling Green when they fell to Lexington Catholic, Covington Catholic, and Highlands in the finals? I remember him starting at least one of them. Those Bowling Green teams (and Steelman) were good, they just couldn't get over the hump. I was really pulling for Army on that last drive today.

What a young man. Extremely tough way to lose the last game of your playing career, but I have a pretty good feeling he will be successful in whatever he does. Great role model and leader.
