Their AD was trying to get them in to a better bowl, he asked the Independence bowl to wait a few days so they could test the waters elsewhere, Independence Bowl picked another team, and La Tech was left at the alter by some of the "bigger bowls", and thus will be home for the bowl season despite being 9-3.

It's a shame, but I don't believe WKU will be giving it back. It's Georgia Tech that should be left out, much like UCLA should have last year.

A head coach leaving for another school, I wonder if his house will get egged and fans will still hate him 3 years after he leaves?
December 3, 201213 yr Shocked that WKU got a bid this year, payback karma from last year? Matchups that jump out to me are K State vs Oregon; Nebraska vs GA.; LSU vs Clemson and TX A&M vs OK. Like all those games.
