November 18, 201213 yr Irish and SEC fans thank you Stanford. Would love to see a ND and Ala game. I think it will be a great game if it comes down to them.
November 18, 201213 yr My 5 minute cardio warm up at the gym turned into a 30 minute warm up because of this game. Hell of a game by Stanford's from 7 and their coaching staff. Love this mess we've got in the BCS. Also love that tOSU is on the sidelines thinking what if.
November 18, 201213 yr I think if Alabama is involved they will dominate whoever they play. I think K State has/had the best shot against 'Bama. I think 'Bama's D destroys Oregon much like Stanford did tonite. If I am Chip Kelley...I'm very upset with myself tonight. Notre Dame/Bama or Notre Dame/UGA...I could spring for either and not care who wins.

A lot of people that are "Irish fans", a lot of SEC fans and a lot of football fans that would probably like to see both teams lose.

A lot of people that are "Irish fans", a lot of SEC fans and a lot of football fans that would probably like to see both teams lose. I think you will see a whole lot of people pulling for ND to lose next week. I want to see them win just because ND/Bama/UGa would be a great game against the traditional great teams. Plus I like every team mentioned though I must admit I would pull for UGa in the SEC Championship.
November 18, 201213 yr In all seriousness, I think that was the most impressive win I've seen all year. Holding Oregon to 14 points at Autzen? With an OT period tacked onto regulation? Wow. Who knew someone in the Pac-12 could manage to play some defense? Its kind of funny that I have yet to see any of the people post who said Stanford was nothing more than just an average team after Notre Dame beat Stanford. Yet both average teams that Notre Dame beat in Stanford and Oklahoma keep winning. So pretty impressive for a team who is just average to go into Oregon and knock them off....
November 18, 201213 yr Hats off to the replay official. The back judge had no way of seeing if the right shoulder landed in bounds so he called what he saw - oob - no catch. Replay clearly show the right shoulder hitting first.
November 18, 201213 yr Projected BCS has ND at 1 followed by 3 SEC teams then K State and Oregon. Oddsmakers say ND would be favored by about 10 today over ND.
November 18, 201213 yr Oddsmakers say ND would be favored by about 10 today over ND. The 1s or the 2s???
November 18, 201213 yr The 1s or the 2s??? As an ND fan all I can hang onto is Penn St vs Vinnie's Canes. The same was said there.

November 18, 201213 yr Go back and read what you posted again... Oops. Freudian slip, I guess. What I meant.... Bama would be favored by 10.
November 18, 201213 yr Happened to K State... I realize that, which is why I put in unless ND has a let down. I don't think that will happen under the circumstances, particularly with the USC QB dinged up.

ND-Bama will be much like last year's first LSU-Bama game...all field goals.
November 18, 201213 yr A miscue that killed Oregon early and gave momentum back to Stanford was the receiver not blocking anyone on the long run by the Ducks QB. QB was behind everyone yet the receiver decided to run in front of him instead of peeling back to take out the safety. Safety made the tackle and the Ducks ended up getting zero points.
