Went for my honeymoon... It was great.

 

We stayed in Ocho Rios. The place was called Couples Tower Isle. All-inclusive, plenty of things to do each day. I prefer to spend most of my time relaxing and it was great for that as well. They even have a nude island they will take you to if you are feeling frisky Clizzy.

My wife and I stayed at the RIU Ocho Rios last year. Everything there was incredible. Elton Brand (now with the Dallas Mavericks) was there the same week. Close to shopping and Dunn River Falls. Good deals through Mexico, Caribbean and Costa Rica All Inclusive Vacation Packages - Vacation Express out of Cincy.

Going to Montego Bay in April & staying at "Couples Swept Away."

 

I know very little about it but am looking forward to the trip.

Have not been to Jamaica but I have stayed at the RIU Palace Riviera Maya a few times and my wife and I stayed at the RIU Palace in Aruba last summer. The upper section of RIU's (palace and a few others) are top notch.

My wife and I go almost every year. We have been to Ocho Rios, Negril (many times), Runaway Bay (many times). We have gotten to where we alternate between Negril and Runaway Bay. We stayed at Breezes Negril a number of times, and we really like it there. It is pretty low key party wise, but the diving, sailing, food and drink is good. We have been to Breezes Runaway Bay many times and all of the above is good, and it was a little bit livlier on some trips. Flying into Montego Bay, the bus ride to Ocho Rios is loooong, and that is why we stay a bit closer. There are a lot of great resorts down there, so shop around. (Priceline works as well.) Of course you can go to Hedo (one of which is next door to Breezes Negril) if you are feeling adventurous.

Hedo 2 is one insane place. Loved 3, but it was flipped to a family friendly resort a few years back...

^ If I remember correctly it's about 80-90 minutes. Bring some cash for your bus ride, they will expect a tip.

Between an hour and 1 1/2 hours by bus. There is an airline locally that can fly it in 15 minutes. About $5 a bag is a generous tip.

Couples Swept Away in Negril.

Went to a holiday inn sun spree. Cheap, good weekend get away. It's a holiday inn.

Anyone know how far away that is?

 

Grab a 15 min flight there on a cropduster. It's a blast, kinda freaky to get in a 4 seater and land on a dirt landing strip but much faster and adventurous.
