Still Undecided

I could care less what religion the POTUS is. If I like him he gets my vote. Period. Until there is a law stating the POTUS has to be a Christian then I think it is silly for anyone to vote for the POTUS based on their religion and I think it is really silly for any Christian to judge another Christian on how they place their vote. God doesn't care who the POTUS is.

I disagree. Throughout Biblical history God had an active interest in political leaders. I believe he still does.

To each his own. I believe he has an active interest in the people. Not their occupation.

So why has He sat out the past couple thousand years?

Gary Johnson gets my vote! Neither Romney or Obama align closely with my frame of thinking, so I can't bring myself to vote for either one. I'll be one of the 5-percenter's that Gary Johnson is hoping to get on board in an effort to break open the two-party system.

The ONLY way a dent is made in the two-party system is for enough folks who really believe in a third-party candidate (over the D and the R) to actually man up and pull the lever fpr their candidate.

In the Old Testament, without question.

What about within the New Testament? God places them on thrones the NT speaks of but specifics and details are left out. The greatest example of politics and faith may very well be Jesus' words: "Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's and unto God that which is God's."

I read something today where Billy Graham said that The Mormon Religion was a cult, but now He has changed his mind because of Romney.I will try to find it and post a link.

I have no problem with not voting for Obama.I'm not going to!

How can you vote for a guy that believes that Jesus and Satan are brothers.

That God had literal sex with Mary to create Jesus.

Here is more from a ex Mormon if you would like to check it out...

The fourteen fundamental articles or beliefs of Mormons | Recovery from Mormonism

I will be the first to admit that I know a few Morm0ns but don't know anything about Mormons. The Mormans that I know personally are very kind and helpful toward their fellow man. With that said I did a google search on what Mormans believe. I found the comentary to #13 to be interesting.

I guess I have no more problem with Mormons than I do Catholics. Both religions differ from my beliefs on a few items but both believe Jesus was the son of God and salvation is gained by placing your faith in a risen savior. I do find the whole "Garden of Eden in Missouri" to be odd.

It's right under the Arch. Took a field trip there in the 8th grade. It was raining though so I couldn't use my dad's 35 pound camera to take pictures.

Obama is as phony as they come. Forcing religious-based medical institutions to perform abortions, cancelling White House Day of Prayer but not Ramadan celebrations, removing under God intentionally, redefining marriage, abortions paid for by tax dollars, immoral debt spending - give me a moral Mormon over an immoral whatever he is - certainly not a Christian.

So a candidates religious views do not matter to you,as long as they have good morals?

Would you vote for an atheist with good morals before you would vote for Obama?

I'm only speaking for myself but if the atheist had a social platform the exact opposit of Obama's then yes. Furthermore, what actions taken by Obama make you believe that he is any different than an atheist? One other question, what is more dangerous, an atheist or someone who claims to be Christian but doesn't live or conduct themselves like a Christian?

Why should either be considered dangerous?

Wouldn't a "Christian" want people with pre-existing medical conditions to be covered by healthcare? Obamacare allows 30 million people with pre-existing medical conditions to now be covered by healthcare. Isn't that a "Christian" act?
