November 4, 201213 yr I still have no idea what I am going to do on Tuesday. There are glaring things about each candidate that I fear. I've actually been leaning towards Gary Johnson (Libertarian). But then today I asked myself " Who does God want to win this election?" Believe it or not, that did not clear anything up for me. Am I the only one that has yet to decide?
November 4, 201213 yr I'm still trying to figure out why so many Christians, that base their vote on a candidates Christian beliefs would vote for Romney. If they are voting on political issues only, leaving out their Christian biblical views, then I can understand why someone would vote for Romney! I have read that these are some of the Mormons beliefs... Jesus and Satan are brothers. The Garden of Eden is in Missouri. Joseph Smith is a prophet, that he is as important as Jesus. I won't be voting for Romney or Obama. One of my reasons that I will not vote for Romney,is because of the hatred I have heard towards Obama from Christians! I've had people from my Church tell me that they are voting for Romney because He is the lesser of two evils. Is there such a thing in Gods eyes? Some folks may believe that, and that's cool with me because that's between them and God. I believe that evil is evil, and I don't trust Romney or Obama! I maybe would vote for Romney if it wasn't for my Christian brothers and sisters bashing Obama because of gay marriage, abortion and him supposedly being a Muslim! I don't fear who wins, because I put my trust in Jesus Christ... So I'm still undecided, but I do know I will not be voting for Romney or Obama.:thumb: Edited November 5, 201213 yr by ADopted ADmiral
November 5, 201213 yr Taking God out of one nation under God, redefining marriage, abortion, not supporting Israel, Benghazi, out of control spending after promising to reduce the deficit, support from dictators, doubled gas prices under his watch and much more - how can anyone vote for such a failure as Obama?

So does this mean you are voting for Romney? If so are you a Mormon?
November 5, 201213 yr Billy Graham endorses Romney, that's good enough for me. He has walked the talk a lot longer than any of us. Mormons are very moral people. Obama is immoral and has taken active anti-Christian steps such as 7 times intentionally removing under God from One Nation Under God. He has undermined the constitution at every turn and will continue to do so with liberal court appointments. So, yes, it is wise for a Christian to vote for Romney. Remember Obama's supposed pastor for 20 years - Jeremiah Wright, famous for his anti-American stances and God*!*# America. I do not see how a Christian could vote for Obama. Yes, I'm voting for Romney.

Yes, I'm voting for Romney. I read something today where Billy Graham said that The Mormon Religion was a cult, but now He has changed his mind because of Romney.I will try to find it and post a link. I have no problem with not voting for Obama.I'm not going to! How can you vote for a guy that believes that Jesus and Satan are brothers. That God had literal sex with Mary to create Jesus. Here is more from a ex Mormon if you would like to check it out... The fourteen fundamental articles or beliefs of Mormons | Recovery from Mormonism
November 5, 201213 yr SS here is a link on Billy Graham,Mormonism and Romney. Remember I'm not a Obama supporter,I'm just trying to figure out why bible believing Christians bash Obama because of their Christian beliefs, but have no problem with Romney and his Mormon beliefs. Billy Graham Faces Backlash Over Mormon 'Cult' Removal
November 5, 201213 yr So does this mean you are voting for Romney? If so are you a Mormon? Why do you ask that?
November 5, 201213 yr Why do you ask that? I was just wondering,it sounds like to me one of the reasons He doesn't like Obama is because of his religious views.I'm just trying to figure out How a Christian can be against Obama because they think He is Muslim/anti-Christian but support Romney and his Mormonism beliefs.Unless of course SS is a Mormon.
November 5, 201213 yr Gary Johnson gets my vote! Neither Romney or Obama align closely with my frame of thinking, so I can't bring myself to vote for either one. I'll be one of the 5-percenter's that Gary Johnson is hoping to get on board in an effort to break open the two-party system.

Yes, I'm voting for Romney. You mean the same Billy Graham who couldn't be bothered to take a stance on civil rights? The same guy who backed exactly one presidential candidate full-on from an endorsement standpoint, a president who he later admonished for uttering curse words in the White House (but none of Nixon's other multitude of sins)? Yeah, that's the guy I want as my moral compass.
November 5, 201213 yr Obama is as phony as they come. Forcing religious-based medical institutions to perform abortions, cancelling White House Day of Prayer but not Ramadan celebrations, removing under God intentionally, redefining marriage, abortions paid for by tax dollars, immoral debt spending - give me a moral Mormon over an immoral whatever he is - certainly not a Christian.

Yes, I'm voting for Romney. Billy Graham is going to turn 94 this week. He is not the Billy Graham we have known and loved. I also believe that Franklin is trotting out his father for political gain. Billy Graham (some 20 years ago) remarked how one of his greatest regrets was ever becoming involved in politics (i.e. Nixon). Looking back he sees that as an error in his role of evangelist for the gospel. Now all of these print ads are saying that Graham is taking sides again. Either he was not being truthful in his own autobiography or he doesn't really know what he's doing right now because of his age and health. A great read for those who wish to take a look at the mixing of Theology and Politics is Blinded By Might. It is a series of short articles by Ed Dobson and Cal Thomas, two former leaders in the Moral Majority under Jerry Fallwell. They do an honest assessment of the real victories and real failures of the movement and the warnings that faith results do not happen with polticial actions.
