Cooper 48 Anderson County 0

Margin is surprising but Cooper winning was not.

I think I'm right that Cooper now gets South Oldham on the road.

You are correct.

Congrats to the Jags! Best game they played all year. Shut out an Anderson Co. team that averaged something like 34 points a game.

It was nice to win by that margin after some doubters in the area didn't think Cooper could win a playoff game.

What was even more impressive was the Cooper fans who traveled down to Anderson Co. Totally filled the visitor stands and had more fans there than the home team. Great support!

Anderson County had scored 21 or more in every game this season before tonight. Cooper has the best defense of the teams left in this region. Is the Cooper defense good enough to contain Conner or Franklin County? That is the key question in this region.

No surprise here. Cooper is snappy, in shape, talented, and well coached.

Yea, I just looked up their stats, they averaged 37.3 points a game this year. Very impressive game tonight.

Very impressed with the turnout of Cooper fans. The players were ready from the start. Offense controlled time of position in first half. Cooper's D-line had around 4 blocks on the Anderson Co QB.

By this time of the year I'm not often surprised, but this score made my eyes pop a bit.

I expected a closer game based on what I'd heard about Anderson County. I hadn't seen them play though, and this game reinforces what I already know, talk about teams is cheap.

Cooper has a nice team.

5A region is easily the most "wide open" of the Northern Kentucky regions. Four teams left, four teams with a legit shot at winning the region, correct?

Big time support. I saw on FB they took their band as well.

As we often see central KY simply doesn't play a lot of defense. So they stats you see coming in are often inflated.

Cooper forced 6 turnovers.

AJ Collins had a huge game on both sides of the field.

Had a blast in the fan section for this game! Congrats to Coach Borchers, his staff, and of course the team! We are Cooper!!!

Did Cooper bring busses for students or fans or did everyone find their own way?

The band, cheerleaders and some students came down on busses. Other students, and of course the families, drove down. It was a really good crowd. Truly an "old school" atmosphere down there last night.
