The band, cheerleaders and some students came down on busses. Other students, and of course the families, drove down. It was a really good crowd. Truly an "old school" atmosphere down there last night.

 

Love it! Players have to love it as well.

Did Cooper bring busses for students or fans or did everyone find their own way?

Everyone found their own way. They were going to have a student bus but they coulnd't get enough to fill it, that made me worried about the turnout but we were alll pleasantly surprised when the entire visitors stands were filled to capacity with students and parents etc. Standing room only and it was electric.

 

Hopefully They can duplicate it for the South Oldham game. May I also say that I am happy to be going back to S. Oldham, their fans had to be the classiest fans we ran into all year. Even after their loss they had nothing but good things to say after our last game against them down there. Should be a great game.

The only negative thing I had heard from a friend of a Cooper parent was there was some unclassy play by 1 or more of the Anderson players. Great win for Cooper and Northern Kentucky. All I can say is maybe the teams down south need to learn how to lose a game.

There was some very unclassy play by 1 Anderson player, on back to back to back kickoffs. The anderson player singled out the same player on back to back kickoffs and, well all I will say is the player should of been thrown out after just the first incident. The rest of the Anderson players were very classy and handled everything just fine.

 

It's always sad watching the seniors of the losing team afterwards when they realize they just played their last game. Except for the 1 Anderson player, I felt bad for the rest.

Sorry to dissapoint you hammer, but was just clarifying what was already said in this thread that it was only 1 player, and trust me on this one when I not only say the resst of the Anderson team was fine, but I know EXACTELY what was being discussed. If you'd like to know any information feel free to PM me, I'm not discussing it on here other than what was said already. If someone else would like too post what happened then that would actually be better than me discussing it because of some certain details. Would be better for someone else to comment on wwhat took place.

It was just one kid and he should have been ejected after the first incident. For the record, Hellbird didn't bring it up and he certainly wasn't exaggerating. He didn't name him or say "Yep, it was #??" The kid was waaaay out of control, pacing on the sideline the whole game and taking really cheap shots on special teams long after that game was out of their reach. I thought the AC crowd was especially nice, both before and after the game. Although, if I had to answer "Where is Cooper County?" one more time......
