There will be lots of version of the "incident." They're probably all true to some extent.

 

One thing I did hear is that one CCH kid was ejected because he came off the bench even though he was actually on the punt return team. Seems like that's an ejection that can be reviewed. I would hope so.

 

I talked to a player and his basis thought was that it was "crazy" in front of the bench.

I think it's Conner's 3rd on the field brawl this year.

 

What constitutes a "brawl" in your world? You think there would be 3 legit brawls and no one on BGP mention it?

This can lull the Birds into a false sense of security, but has the opposite effect on the Colonels. I can guarantee you that the team who showed up at Highlands earlier this year was not the team that played tonight. Weather played a huge factor in the outcome of this one.

 

LOL. You must not have been around any player or coach for Highlands during CovCath week. There will be no under preparation for the Colonels should they meet a second time. Not even a chance they aren't ready.

Prior to last year (or maybe the year before that) it had been quite a while since the two have played. I know they didn't play from 2001 or 2002 to about 2010.

Does this loss change people's perceptions of the current Class 4A rankings?
