I don't think much of it but I can see where it would catch it's target audience.

My guess is that those who are bothered by it are not those it was intended for. Most probably do not even recognize the young lady in the ad nor would you probably dig her show. It was effective because it was a very targeted message.

Lena Dunham is her name. She wrote/directed/produced/starred in Girls, a new show on HBO. Received several Emmy nominations for her various roles in the show.

Funny. I think the dumbest one is the one ran in Ohio with the dumb broad screaming about her free phone. That one does more harm than this one.

That's the problem. Those that are targeted in this ad are likely clueless about anything that's going on in the world or this country, about the economy, about the deficit, about what's happening in the Middle East. It's targeted at idiots that'll say, "hey, I saw her on TV! Cool! That's who I'll vote for too!"

How so? You think this type of ad is really targeted at those that are informed or pay attention to what's going on? There's absolutely no substance to the ad.
