So, If Highlands wins this game, does Joe still run the risk of being black balled? Does this thread even exist with a win for Highlands? No calls were missed that could have been to Highlands favor? I don't know that I ever see a game that there are not calls missed, many by me that the officials get, and I see some the officials miss. Watching film and looking for something you know is going to happen makes it pretty to see.

I just spoke to a person in position to know such things, and was told that Highlands /Dale does not scratch officials, and has not for years. Person tells me that HHS games are easiest games to work in NKY due to well coached team and no sideline feedback. Said he would be shocked if Joe Frank's crew or any other we're scratched by HHS.

 

With that I think we can put this one to bed.

Joe has been around a long time. He and every other referee deserves our thanks for stepping up to the plate and helping our student athletes participate in the games they love. Refs don't get told thanks enough.

 

I doubt that Joe cares much at all about what is said on here; or at least I hope he doesn't. Thick skin is as much a prerequisite of reffing as are a whistle, striped shirt and yellow flag.

Why would he give G the cold shoulder? He simply asked if HHS was going to nix him.
