Good win by Russell...

A big weekend for the Devils after beating Ashland last night and

Scott this afternoon.

I believe it was the brilliant Nothingbutnet who so eloquently stated that the Red Devils had "NO chance". Appears he was nothing but air on that one now doesn't it. Congrats to Russell. Looks like the entire 16th is doing well today against the center of our state. :thumb:

Gill disappeared during the 3rd quarter, but came on strong at

Crunch-time.

I don't have rebounding stats, but I would guess Russell cleaned

up from the second quarter on.

 

Russell was awakened after a 15-5 deficit stared them in the face at

the end of the 1st.

As a "rookie" to this site, I was surprised to see how little someone can know, how loud they can be, and how wrong they can be. Nothingbutnet and play-2-win left no doubt that Russell didn't have a chance against Scott yet they won rather easily. While their bold predictions might be an expression of confidence in their own team, it is ignorance of the other team's capabilities. WTG Russell.

I wouldn't say that Russell won easily RR, but Russell did seem to

be the better team, especially after the first quarter.

Congrats to Russell for the win. The devils seem to be putting everything together and stringing together quality wins.

Big win for Russell and another stellar performance from Jonathan VanHoose. Those who don't see him as the top all around player in the region may have to reconsider. Hopefully, Russell is, indeed putting it all together.

You butchered half the names. but there most athletic player quigley was injuired. With that said the streak had to come to an end and id rather it now than tuesday against Brossart.
