I saw the last 3rd of it and thought it was pretty good. Amazing how much money is wasted by pro athletes. Makes you wonder how are economy is in the tank.

Because the people who profited off of their money hasn't spent it yet.

Oh those people who took their money I assure you have not put it to good use. I think these stories are a microcosm of the problems we have in America. People spending money they do not have and living outside their means. The show really highlighted how ignorant of money some people really are. I loved the various stories, but I thought the production of this 30 for 30 kind of stunk compared to others. Best was the guy who had 56,000 to his name, and he just had to have new Hummer. So he was able to pay $50,000 straight cash for the vehicle.

I've been saying for years HS needs to add a class for basic financial principals. Some people literally just don't understand.

I know. I was trying to be funny. :D

Leon Searcy.

For the record, Jamaal Mashburn is not broke.

I didn't see the whole thing not sure if this was covered. Were they saying that most of these guys are broke because someone screwed them or because they were just stupid and spent it like it would never run out?

I didn't get that from the show. I think he was on there to show the other side.

They covered all the bases for why athletes are broke.

Stupidity, handlers of their money, baby mamas, baller alerts, etc.

Nope. Did you see the end of it when they showed what each of them are doing now? Mash has 3 car dealerships and numerous restaurants in the state. He is doing very well.

Most around here know of Mashburn's successes, just seeing him on the show was kind of odd. A ton of athletes have productive post-careers, just thought it was random they highlighted him.

Turned off the last 8 minutes  He is big in to the Papa John thing. They have better ingredients.

Mash is also involved with several Outback Steakhouses, I believe.

Kosar is bitter because of what his dad, wife, and daughter has done to him.

He is still somewhat successful.

I think he's employed by ESPN as an NBA analyst. I would say that's why he was the one they chose to highlight. Easy access.

I do not think he works for ESPN any longer.
