Which claims made by the Governor were factual? I ask because the consensus is "he won" but many are questioning his "facts."

 

Many are questioning both their facts, not just Romney.

Better grasp? What did he say to show a better grasp? I think 90% of Americans will vote for someone who shows he can fix them. What did I miss?

 

You may not agree with Romney but he showed conviction and when Obama distorted the facts he called him out. When Romney distorted the facts Obama look for help from the moderator. You and all the so called "fact checkers" have pointed out Romney errors yet the President had no idea, none.

Here's the thing, Romney busted Obama on his lack of truth during the debate, in front of an audience full of undecided voter. Obama let Romney slide because he was unprepared or gutless. Either way the Obama crew is trying to close the barn door after the horses are out.

Hold up. You said he had a better grasp and showed how he would fix the economy. I asked how he showed that to you and your answer is "yeah, he was wrong on almost all of his facts but he had conviction." That's a telling statement as to how we determine who "wins" a debate.

 

The biggest lie the Gov told was his tales about taxes. Maybe the POTUS didn't do it with enough passion or didn't zing him with a funny line but he repeated over and over that the math didn't work out. How is that looking for help from the moderator?

The POTUS was a bit misleading about rate of cost increases for health insurance.

 

He includes $$ in his $4T claim that include savings from the war that is winding down anyway and from $$ already agreed to in regards to discretionary spending.

Clyde, if you accept this as the "Gospel" then you are seriously misguided. There were "semi-truths" in a whole lot of what Romney said during the debate. And there was also some fiction to what he said too. But what is being lost here is that it is the President's job to call him on those fictions. The only fact that I truly saw during the debate is that it didn't seem like the President was willing to fight for his job. The Facts: The truth lies somewhere in between...that's a loaded statement.

Most of both's "facts" were not factual. That's the nature of what they do in a debate. They give us a little information from one specific source and leave out the rest of the information or the sources that contradict their facts. It's a game they play. The winner of the debates has never been which one was less truthful, it's always been about style. Most people who listened to the Kennedy/Nixon debates thought Nixon had won while those watching picked Kennedy. Style always wins and yes, it does say a lot about us.

Very telling. I post an article that criticizes both when they felt they were not being factual and you think I handpicked it.

 

It's really simple, Lucky. Look at the facts as presented and comment intelligently. It's not that hard.

 

I do love the "game" comment. I am not expressing opinion. I am listing out what those who are supposedly fact-checkers have said. In most cases they have presented supporting evidence. You call that a "game?"

Here's another fact check from a Fox affiliate in Minneapolis. The new one I see is that the POTUS's claim that he did implement Bowles Simpson was partially true but he didn't incorporate all of it as he implied.
