The Jets are 2-2 and tied for first place in their division. Why in the hell would it be Tebow time now? Whether it was open competition or not in the preseason if they thought he looked better than Sanchez they would have played him. I saw lots of their preseason practices on Sportscenter and he still looked pretty crappy to me. If they thought they could win with him and not Sanchez they would have played him. If they thought he was worth a damn he'd be on the field. He sucks folks. Yes, that's right. Tim Tebow sucks. Big news flash. And everytime you see Sanchez suck on the field remind yourself just how bad Tebow must be to not even get to sniff the field and do his cute little jump pass for a first down.....oops...fumble....

What you say is the rub. Brady, Rogers, Brees, Manning, they make the running game because they are great passers. Defenses have to defend the pass first, opening up the running game. Sanchez, regardless of his receiver corps, has never been able to do that. He needs a great running game first, ala Brad Johnson and Trent Dilfer. However, I've never considered him a good game manager as Johnson and Dilfer were. Sanchez also needs a good defense. He doesn't have that either.

 

As far as Tebow goes, Denver had a good running attack before he took over. The Jets do not. I also do not think the coaching staff will convert their offense to a college zone read, like the Broncos did. While I do not have the angst against this guy like some do, I don't think he will do well without those 2 things.

 

The quarterbacks you mentioned will be hall of famers. So unless your going to be a hall of fame quarterback, you do need other things around you. There is nothing new about that. He has shown he is good enough to do well when he has help, just like most quarterbacks need. That is why this offense probably would be better with Tebow because they need to do an offense that is not conventional.

This team has zero pass catchers....Why would play a guy that has no chance to move the ball (Sanchez), when you've got a guy (unconventional) who has play making ability.

Didn't say they were hall of famers. I was talking about the guys you mentioned that make their running game and everything else better by just how good they throw the ball. I said Sanchez is not that bad but he just doesn't have much around him, and then you talked about those guys for some reason. When you had other things around him like when Dilfer and Johnson had those things around him he did very well. Which is why I said he is not that bad if he has help around him. I mean those guys had to win it at the end of their careers with those things around him, and he almost got it done in his first two years. So put those things around him and he can do really well. Which is why I say they would be better off with Tebow in this case, because they would be better suited for an unconventional offense since they have no receivers especially with Holmes hurt.

For their personnel on offense, Tebow is the better fit and gives them the best chance to win, especially with Holmes done for the year.
