FYI, over the same span, the CCH / HC match-up hasn't been quite as close:

2000 / 01 -- CovCath 1-0

1999 / 00 -- CovCath 2-1

1998 / 99 -- CovCath 2-0

1997 / 98 -- CovCath 2-0

 

CovCath leads the series 13-1 over the last 8 years.

 

Atleast I can say I was on the 1 win team. The last 8 years hasn't by no means been a golden era in HC basketball.

With CCH having a 13-1 record over Holy Cross and Holmes a 9-3 record over HC it sort of dispells the myth of there being a "Big 3" in the 35th Dist. I would have to say there is more of a "Big 2". Wouldn't you agree bigstud?

Not exactly over the last 8 years HC would probably have a few district titles in other districts.

 

HC is just a good team in a great conference. I guarntee you other great programs in the 9th would have similar records. I.E. NCC and Dixie.

:thumb: And that is pretty much all that matters isn't it. They may have dominated the regular season but the bottom line is regional titles and going to the State Tournament of which CCH, as bigstud has stated, has only been 1 time in the last 15 years.

BigZig just to disprove your point since 1990. HC,CCH, and Holmes have the exact same amount of regional titles.

Maybe all it proves is that the 35th District isn't as tough as we maybe thought.

It's tougher than any other district to get out of. But when it comes to Regionals the 35th teams underacheive.
