I think Cov Cath has too much class and definitely too much to lose by running up the score. I think they'll keep starters in till game is handled, then JV finishes out. I have nothing but respect for those boys on Pendleton County. I think having the courage to keep coming and knowing that the program rides on their shoulders says a lot of the character of these young men.

What? It's got nothing to do with class. It's common sense. A coach/program just knows better. The score will be large, but because of one teams talent is way too much for the other.

I know people keep saying this, but this is another example of why 6 classes is too much. When will people wake up!

So much for trying to pay a compliment.....:idunno::idunno:

Very well said! I am tacking Cov Cath by 40.

There's a possibility PC won't put it's key people on the field for this game or the game vs. Highlands in order to keep people healthy for the Harrison Co. Game with a spot in the playoffs on the line.

With a roster of 24 including freshmen there is no way PC can do this. The worst thing they can do is ask the boys at the bottom of the roster to try and compete with CCH and HHS to save key players for Harrison.

PC has already made the decision to play independent football next year, playoff games are not the concern of the program right now.

When i say "key" I mean a select few, so yes it can happen. Plus, beating Harrison out for a playoff spot means more to those kids than you understand.

Mom! Dad! I'm starting at running back this week. Yea really! Coach said he wants to make sure Johnny don't get hurt so I'm gonna play. This week and next week against Highlands if im still able. Then Johnny can play against Harrison.

I know what you're saying and I agree...just going on what I heard MAY happen.

The problem at PC is many of the kids come from farming families and have to work the farm in summer and after school. Its just the way of life in some parts of Kentucky. Have to help the family and there is no time for sports. I am willing to bet if that was not the case there would be 50 or more kids coming out for the team every year

Since the CovCath JV have no more games scheduled, I hope they get plenty of playing time.

I just hope that when they do get in the coaches let them run the CovCath offense, and people out there do not start crying about running the score up.

This is a very good soph. class and the more PT the better it is going to be.
