Team A offers Adrian Peterson to Team B for Chris Johnson and Team B accepts(it goes through on the league and is up for veto), four hours later Team B has a change of heart and wants to cancel the trade. Is it standard for this to be accepted and if so, how long does Team B have to cancel the trade?

I think in our league, the only way that Team B can cancel the trade after it was accepted is if he can get enough of the owners to vote veto it. Once its accepted, he doesn't have the power to simply cancel.

A guy accepted my trade, then called another member of the league and said make a better offer and I'll cancel the first trade. Things about hit the fan.

Who is the commish of this league? No chance he can allow that to happen. Under no circumstances does that make sense. How can he just cancel the trade unless he is the commish?

Apparently in espn leagues either party can cancel an accepted trade until the 2 day veto period is done. To the second part, I've never heard of any league like that before.

I've never heard of such a thing. I'd be pretty ticked off. You could easily see a trade that goes through and then offer a slightly better player to the owner so he cancels the trade.

Im glad I got wind of it. It caused a boatload of drama.

September 12, 201214 yr Not true in any of my 3 ESPN leagues. I didn't think so, but when confronted the commish swore it was a standard rule. Such a scene was made of it the commish pushed the original trade through as soon as he got home from work. :lol:

September 13, 201214 yr Deep 16 team fantasy league: WR Greg Jennings vs. CHI WR Santonio Holmes @ PIT WR James Jones vs. CHI WR Robert Meachem Pick 1. I have no clue who to pick at this point. Jennings may not play. I'd probably roll with James Jones or Holmes. Jones if Jennings doesn't play.
