Marvin Lewis is the worst coach in the NFL. Unfortunately his boss won't fire anyone so he just sits in his office and rakes in the money while putting mediocre teams on the field year after year after year.

Marvin never has his teams prepared when facing a good team, and he only had 7 months to prepare for this game.

 

Our secondary is the worst in the entire league, Leon Hall wasn't Rusty, he played the same he always plays. He played the same he did last year before he got hurt and he wasn't that great then either. Our D-Line has Atkins and that is about it until Dunlap comes back. Peko is the worst DT in the game, I get so tired of seeing him get thrown back 5 yards on every run play and zero penetration on every pass play. This team will be like they have always been under Marvin, they will win against bad teams and lose against good teams.

 

One thing you can guarantee, every time they beat a bad team there will be those that will start talking Super Bowl.

I agree with you but show me one post where someone seriously was talking about the Bengals and the Super Bowl this year?

For what it's worth, I think the Ravens are Super Bowl bound and will make a lot of teams look bad.

It's hard to argue the impact of a play or call and what could have subsequently happened, or how momemtum shifts; but these calls were big plays that affected the score. I can not understand why Marvin didn't challenge the Green catch, not his shining moment. That was obvious at first glance of the replay. Marvin always appears more nervous and less prepared against Baltimore than any other team. By the way, I am a season ticket holder and a die hard fan.

I hope they have amnesia, they need to learn from their mistakes quickly. It was a bad situation to start with, being on the road, on MNF playing against an emotional team with a no huddle offense. I can't imagine a more difficult situation to start the season.

I was agreeing with you on everything except for the Marvin being nervous against the Ravens. I mean for someone who is nervous as you say, its kind of surprising that he has a winning record against the Ravens. I admit Marvin's game management skills leaves a lot to be desired. However the man has done pretty well in this division which is key. He has a winning record against the Ravens and the Browns. Considering the Ravens have been basically a playoff team every year he has been here, that is impressive that he has a winning record against them. The Steelers are the only team the Bengals really still struggle with the most in the division even with Marvin.

He is the worst coach in the NFL at successful challenges. Whoever is in the booth doing that is a moron.
