Dixie Heights 33 Conner 31

Congrats to Dixie. They wanted it more. Conner thought the game was over at halftime. Proves you have to play for 48 minutes, not 24.

Better QB? Good thing they don't play SK? I love it! :D

So happy for Dixie those kids and coaches have worked their tails off! I hope Fisk had an awesome game! Dixie beat the most over rated team ever! I wonder if Meyer watched this game. If he was smart he would have watch a QB in Independence! :D

Hey Clyde! Come out to Beechwood Sunday at 11AM school starts get educated! Bring your buddy RE! :D

I heard SK plays Conner next year! :D

Congrats to Coach Brossart and the kids at Dixie.

Great comeback win for the Dixie kids. Way to play FOUR quarters! I hope this is just the beginning of something special.

Sophomore quarterback Drew Moore rushed for three fourth-quarter touchdowns as Dixie Heights rallied for a 33-31 win over Conner on Friday.

Moore finished with 11 carries for 97 yards, and he completed 15 of 23 passes for 175 yards and one TD for Dixie Heights, which erased a 21-point first-half deficit.

Junior Seth Caple added 86 ground yards and a touchdown, junior Darion Washington rushed for 80 yards on eight carries and junior Joe Radenhausen chipped in 68 yards rushing on 19 carries.

Sophomore tight end Andrew Hedger led Dixie Heights in receiving with six catches for 56 yards and one score.

Junior quarterback Drew Barker was 12 for 21 passing for 226 yards and three touchdowns for the Cougars, and his main target – senior Cameron Fogle – caught five passes for 110 yards and two TDs.

"Get educated" - ironic.

Is Caple from Dixie related to the CCH LB who passed away? I know he was a Ludlow kid.

Yes, Seth's cousin.

Congratulations to Seth Caple and Drew Moore (a couple of Ludlow guys) who played very well lastnight for Dixie. Good job!

I said before the season started Conner was overrated looks like I am right!

Next year Dixie should be very good.

So what was the onside kick play referred to in the earlier post? Did Dixie recover an onside kick early in the second half?

VOR, Dixie received in second half. Caple ran it in from the 5. Then Dixie onside kick was recovered by Dixie. Conner tried an onside in the first half but i believe they touched it before it went ten yards.

The touch was questionable. Looked like Conner recovered. Will need to take a closer look.
