September 5, 201214 yr Reds scored 6 runs in the 3 games against the Phillies with Bruce driving in all 6.
September 5, 201214 yr Dusty is just flipping the middle finger at fans and media with the continued playing of Stubbs over Heisey. The Reds are my favorite team(believe it or not), but would actually like to see the bottom fall out and them miss the playoffs. Pitching and emergence of Frazier,Ludwick and Cozart has saved his buttocks all season, he will owe part of his extension pay and new contract to every one of those guys, because without them his managing has cost them at least 12 games this year. Have a bad feeling about Votto the rest of the season, hope I am wrong. Good riddance. Also, just went back through and couldn't find a single post where anyone complained about there being no Votto....:idunno: Sorry to interrupt. The post above is the one I was referring to concerning complaints about Dusty and his lineups. Just wanted to pop back in to respond.

He would have been wondering for a whole week what I was talking about.
September 5, 201214 yr Leake looked awful today, and he showed why you can't have him in the playoff rotation. He's had several starts this year where he's been pulled early in the game, and you just can't do that to your bullpen in the playoffs.
September 5, 201214 yr Reds will have Bailey, Arroyo and Bailey going in the series against the Astros. The Reds could put a serious dent in the magic number this weekend as they host the Astros, and the Cardinals play the Brewers at home. The Pirates will play the Cubs at home. I'm hoping the Pirates can catch the Cardinals in the wild card race.

You had him going twice last weekend in Houston.:lol:
September 5, 201214 yr Ain't it the truth. 4 bottles of water...$22.00. Checked with GABP management before our last trip, you can bring your own drinks and snacks, which we did. You can't bring glass bottles or cans, you can only use a soft sided cooler no bigger than 16 X 16 X 8, and they prefer if you bring your snacks in a clear bag. We still bought hot dogs etc., but having our own drinks and peanuts and snack crackers saved us a ton of money at the game. There is the $1.00 concession stand up top, I usually get 2 drinks, 2 hot dogs, bag of peanuts for $5.00 before the game starts, usually this area is lined up during weekend games, not nearly as bad during the week

September 6, 201214 yr Safe to say I am in complete agreement that Leake needs to not pitch in the playoffs if the Phillies by a miracle make it haha.
