2016

Featured Replies

Has anyone seen this movie? I have not seen it, just curious of others thoughts or reviews.

I think I'll wait until 2016.biggrin.gif

Anything with Obama in it has to beawesome. Academy Award? :notworthy:

I'll wait for DVD. Mom and Dad saw it and said it was a solid documentary.

So this is like Obama's Fahrenheit 9/11? Interesting. Surprised they didn't screen it at the RNC. Or did they.

So when the BGP right-wingers watch this and use this as the gospel will Fahrenheit 9/11 have the credibility that 2016 will have?

I'll take a stab at this one.

No.

I can't really say because I haven't watched either and probably won't watch either. However didn't Fahrenheit 9/11 have a lot of inaccuracies in it? Does 2016?

According to mom and dad, it was not anything akin to Fahrenheit 911. Again, according to my parents, the documentary merely takes direct quotations from Obama's books and researches them. They told me that both good points and negative points are made about Obama, with very little in the way of conclusory statements. This was not like Michael Moore's documentary, or even like Ben Stein's documentary.

I'm not sure. I think once more people began to watch Farenheit 9/11 the fact-checkers were brought in to discredit the whole movie. I don't remember anyone csring about it until Michael Moore amde money.

I'm thinking that regardless of who did 2016 whether it was a supporter or a hater there would still be inaccuracies in it.

Interesting. I'll probably wait for the DVD as well. The Movie Tavern has spoiled me. If I can't watch a movie there then I'll just wait.
