Oh my! HC plays Conner next week and if Cooper beat HC this bad, Conner is going to want to show Cooper they can too...... Poor HC....

All I can say is wow, Cooper is going to be a serious contender and the Cooper/Conner game should have a rocking house.

 

No doubt about this one! Conner better shape up the defense. I was at the Boone/Conner game and the Cougars give up a bunch of yards in the middle.

Why would it not be clean? Just curious to this statement.

I will go ahead and say it - I may have seen the best team in N. Ky. tonight, and it wasn't Highlands. Cooper is one heck of a football team. Think Highlands in purple and you have it. Speed everywhere, including the line. Holy Cross thinks Pouncy and Beal are fast, and they are, but Cooper had so much speed on the field they had zero problems handling those two. Pouncy had one nice kickoff return and then was run down by 2 Jaguars. Spread it out and use their speed and short passing game? No problem for Cooper. Folks, Holy Cross is not this bad a team. They have talent. Cooper is so good they embarrassed them with a running clock before half time. And since I am making big statements, I will go ahead and say this - I don't see any way Conner beats Cooper.

But, Cooper handled Conner on the field last year better than the score indicated and then Conner lost more starters than Cooper so I didn't see the reasoning. Not to say that Conner won't be better THIS year, but I felt Cooper got very little love when comparing the two teams based off the above scenario. They certainly didn't have the outcome they wanted. They had 2-3 TD's called back and got burned by the same play 2-3 times but that was a good learning experience. IMO, if you don't make it to the finals, advancing another round or two doesn't do much for me but I'm sure I'm in the minority.

Does the Ramey kid play for Cooper? If so, what can you tell me about him.
