It may not be that Danville quits. More likely, they get tired. From what I have read, they don't seem to play a lot of kids. SK is very big up front and they rotate in players. If the kids on the lline for Danville are playing both ways, chances are they will wear down late.

You were talking crazy in the Boyle/Highlands thread and I see you stirring here also. I will say that in the past couple of years it has seemed like Danville has quit or laid down late in the Boyle games. I know we are not alone in thinking or feeling this way. Besides the Boyle games I can't speak on how Danville has played late against other opponents. I know they appeared to quit the last few games against Boyle late in the game.

I am not knocking this Danville team they sound like a good 2A program. I just think SK has to much depth for them to handle. I hope both teams have great seasons. This game will only make Danville better. Go Pioneers!

The Pioneers will be without their best receiver this week. Huesman has not been cleared by the docs to play after the hip pointer last week at St. X. By all accounts he will be ready next week for Beechwood. Maybe some 2-way play from Swanson and Wilson will help against Danville.

Not necessarily. SK has over 150 plays and 20 formations in their offense. They are committed to a passing offense which takes longer to come together than run oriented offeanse. This commitment may not pay dividends until game 3 or 4.
