If anyone wonders why Congress has an approval rating around 10%, it is comments like this. Add in the commercials we are subjected to on a daily basis, the talking heads on TV and radio ... it is a sorry state of affairs. There is no such thing as respect or statesmanship these days.

Even a honcho wouldn't know that. It would have to be his CPA or Tax Attorney. Makes me wonder. Of course, Mitt could have bragged but that would be out of character for people at that level. They tend to keep their information close to the vest.

CNN says they talked to someone who knows who Reid's source is. Person said if we heard the name of the source we would understand how he would know about Romney's taxes.

BTW, if he legally did not pay taxes for 10 years I say more power to him, wish it were me. The problem is with the tax laws, not those who follow them. Warren Buffett rails against them but no one is on him for taking advantage of them. Why not? He makes a lot more than Romney.

There's a group that started on the internet calling themselves "The Returners." They've said they're going to accuse Romney of never paying taxes until he releases them and then when he does they're going to allege that the returns are forgeries. They're doing it as a joke, but we can only imagine how this escalates.
