Not gonna lie, I already think it's pretty hilarious how effectively my "plan" was foiled...over, and over, and over, and over again. I guess it's something I'll appreciate personally in years to come more than "I just pulled out the ring on a date, got down on one knee, and asked her". :lol: FKYW: Yep, that's her. Clyde: I'm told that I'm quite the storyteller (and quite the BSer). I'm sure it'll get reeeeeeally good over the years. It's not even 24 hours since it all happened and I've already recounted it all a good dozen times to folks. Really though...thanks everybody.

Apparently the width of the plastic bands on the little plastic sizer rings makes them fit a little more tightly. The actual ring had a relatively narrow band, and it fits her like a charm. A very nice, sparkly, expensive charm, hahaha.

What if you had said, "No, that is my mistress." Again, twisted mind. The night I got engaged I went in to the bathroom of the restaurant to make sure the ring was still in my pocket. I proceeded to drop in the floor and it falls next to a floor drain. Now that would have made for a great story had it gone down the drain.

October 15, 201213 yr Author My fiancee heard back from UK med school today...she got in. There are still a few other schools she's hoping to hear back from, but UK was high up on her list. It's a big weight off of her shoulders getting good news from a first school.
