May 31, 201313 yr Author Good luck, hopefully the rain holds off for you guys. Agreed...but to be quite honest, I'm not worried about it. The wedding and the reception are both indoors, all 300 of my closest friends and family are gonna be there, and I'm marrying the most incredible girl I've ever met. Rain, snow, sleet, hail, flash flood...I'm still happy.

May 31, 201313 yr Author Where will you be honeymooning? Puerto Rico. Spending the first 4 days on Vieques Island, a little island measuring about 80 square miles, about eight miles off the east coast of the main island. Not much aside from an air strip, a couple of small villages with eight or ten restaurants and bars total, some boutique guest house hotels, and about 50 miles of beaches. They've got a pretty awesome bioluminescent bay that we're going to take a night kayaking tour of too. Then the last 4 days we're gonna spend on the main island. Mostly in and around San Juan, but we're also gonna check out El Yunque rainforest (the only tropical rainforest on the US Park Service's register), and a school that my great uncle, a Marianist brother, helped build about 50 years ago in the city of Ponce while he was stationed there. REEEEEEALLY looking forward to it.

REEEEEEALLY looking forward to it. Years ago my wife and I were in that rain forest. Lots of walking up the hill. Got to the top and had hardly seen ANYONE on the hike. Finally ran into two people as we were starting to head back. From the "small world" dept - they were from Louisville.

(Tomorrow's the big day.) I feel your pain. But be aware of this. Tomorrow when you are standing at the end of that aisle, then you hear that music and see your bride walking toward you down the aisle .... one of the best rushes you will ever feel in your life.
