Jenny certainly has the proper demeanor to be a principal - even keel - stays calm. Jenny is already the Asst. Principal, as is Joanna Loechel.

July 17, 201214 yr I thought her name was spelled Loechle? Not sure about the Diocesan requirements, but in a KY public school you need a Master's of Education in Administration & pass state tests in School law, finance, & general knowledge. I also want to say you need a minimum of 5 yrs experience as a classroom teacher. Finally, this may not be written down, but most high school's like to see experience as an Asst. Principal first as well....

July 19, 201214 yr I ran into a friend who, lets say has alot to do with NewCath. This person said Bob leaving was 100%a because of the Bishop and of the budget and the cuts he gave to Bob for this coming school year. $$ will be the downfall of the catholic church and its schools. To bad the Bishop wasnt smart enough 10 years ago to combine NewCath and Brossart when the idea was on the table. Now NewCath has this amazing addition and Brossart has one in the works because they want to try to keep up with NewCath. IMO in 15 years or so the schools will be forced to combine, but if the Bishop was smart enough in the past this all would have been advoided. This person also stated that Bob chose Beechwood, so that he does not have to answer to the Bishop anymore. Its a said thing but the truth. Campbell County Catholic High School does have a nice ring to it. Good luck to Bob at Beechwood, and I hope the Catholic leadership gets their act together for the good of the kids.
July 19, 201214 yr You are very welcome sir. Its sad because Bob was liked by so many at NewCath and did so much work to improve the school and to move it forward. He is a class act and a true gentleman.
July 19, 201214 yr When you start losing leaders from your organization like Barczak and Noll, it is not good news. Hopefully something happens and things get turned around because this is the wrong direction IMO.
