June 28, 201214 yr The article cited another case where the buyer said all of the guns were for him and then immediately went outside and gave them to another person. ATF was not allowed to do anything. The ATF has done waaaaay more with waaaay less permission. If the guy handed them over, that is against federal law, Arizona had no say. ATF is a rogue agency that answers to no one. They shut down guns stores for literally not having a word spelled correctly on ATF forms.

I'm talking specifically about this unit and this operation. The gun laws of AZ made their job more difficult IF you have someone running it who is a "by the book" guy as this guy seems to be.
June 28, 201214 yr If the Black Caucus Democrats walk out today, what does that say? Is their claims of racism valid?
June 28, 201214 yr If the Black Caucus Democrats walk out today, what does that say? Is their claims of racism valid? I'm not familiar with what you mention. Walk out? edit: Never mind. You mean walk out on the contempt vote.
June 28, 201214 yr I don't think that's debatable. They were told to stand down. They were told by the US Attorneys and local prosecutors to stand down. If the US attorneys gave bad advice or were being overly cautious, is it fair to ask the question who is in charge of the US attorneys?
June 28, 201214 yr Author Racism, what a joke, just because a black AG lies and gets called on it is not racism. Obama and his cronies have caused more racism problems than I can remember. It's like no one is allowed to hold a black person responsible for their actions, it's racist and your picking on them since they are black. Colin Powell, I wish he was the President and our country would be in a lot better shape.

June 28, 201214 yr This goes to extremes a little but is what I was talking about with this issues and gun control. This is taken from an e-mail of a friend of mine as well as posted on a few boards - Monica Crowley has a new book out. Entitled, "What the Bleep Just Happened? A Happy Warrior's Guide to the Great American Comeback" One of the topics she covers in the book is her assertion that the Obama administration has it's 'bleep' in the wringer over the 'Fast and Furious' scandal. And it's not just because Eric Holder is trying to protect himself. It seems there is another possibility. Crowley contends administration officials dreamed up a way to make the ownership of guns look bad in the eyes of the American public and the world, by having the guns surface in various inconvenient situations, which, were to make America look responsible. The idea was to create the illusion that there are so many guns floating around this country they were bound to just spill over into Mexico, thus, exacerbating the drug cartel inspired violence and making America seem responsible in the matter. So, the guns were allowed to walk, at he behest of whoever hatched the lamebrained idea, while willing anarchist Eric Holder tried to insulate himself of any culpability in the matter by feinting a firewall of ignorance, storing a cash of unopened emails and the like. The problem is the emails and other info subsequent to the colossal failure of the ilconceived sabotage (Gunwalker) of our nation's reputation are incriminating, as well as revealing. And top officials are implicated in a most embarrassing manner. According to Crowley therefore, the whole thing is a plot hatched by folks in our own country to put America in the crosshairs of global consternation, thereby creating enough ill will to cause US citizenry to have to accept gun control, a long time pilar of contention on the liberal national laundry list. If this is true, liberals should be voted out of office in spite of the fact they have sworn to serve the non-productive segment of the American public with cradle to grave entitlements. When one stops to consider what is on the liberal agenda, the notion they would bankrupt America by 'giving' the store away, doesn't seem all that far fetched at all. After all, a reckoning, for the USA by being forced to assume a lower echelon in the 'New World Order' is what the Bill Ayers of this land most want. And, those leading the attempt to affect the realization of the liberal goals, necessarily need to stay in power, holding office in the federal government to effect said changes. Gives clarity to these now familiar phrases, "fundamental transformation of the United States of America", "redistribution of weath" and "Change we can believe in," doesn't it?
June 28, 201214 yr House votes to cite Holder for contempt - First Read The House voted 255-67, with one member voting "present," to cite Holder for criminal contempt. Most Democrats, led by the Congressional Black Caucus, abstained from the vote and staged a walk-out. But 17 conservative moderate and Democrats voted in favor of the resolution; two Republicans broke ranks to oppose it.
June 28, 201214 yr I'm still confused. I've heard many times and even today that the ATF put the guns directly in the hands of illegals and said guns ended up being lost and at least one was used to kill a border agent. Is there some sort of document that's been provided that SHOWS definitively that the ATF put the guns in the hands of illegals? I didnt get that impression from the Fortune article. Is the only proof of this from the ATF agent who went on CBS that Fortune says has a big beef with rules and his boss?
