June 16, 201214 yr My TV will not come on, when you turn it on it makes a noise like it is trying to come on but nothing. I figure it is pretty much dead, plus I want a new one anyway. It is a 60 inch Zenith LCD bought back about 8-9 years ago. I am not for sure what to get, looking for something in the 47-60 inch range that is good for sports. I am going to have to buy one soon, probably by the end of the weeknd, I cannot go without any much longer, any suggestions?
June 16, 201214 yr I bot a 37 inch Vizio back in 2006 and have never had a problem with it I got it at Walmart for a fair price. It has a better picture than my family members high dollar flat screens.
June 16, 201214 yr As far as quality goes, it's hard to match Sony or Samsung IMO. As Randy said, go for the 120 Hz.

June 16, 201214 yr Is there really that much difference in a 120 hz and or a 60 hz in a 32 inch and or 35 inch If you're watching a lot of sports there is. I have a 60 hz and it's good, but the picture drags at times when the action on the screen is moving quickly. Good friend of mine has same size TV but a 120 hz and he never has that problem. It's a $150 or $200 difference, but is worth it IMO.

June 16, 201214 yr I have a 47" Samsung 120hz that is about a year and a half old. I've not had any problems with it and the picture is wonderful. However, I recently purchased a 42" Vizio 120hz Tv for my girls. It is one of the new M-series models. I've only had it a month, but so far the picture to me is at least as good if not better than the Samsung and the price was considerably less than comparable Samsung models.
June 16, 201214 yr I also have a Vizio 42" Class LCD 1080p 120Hz 3D HDTV and have had it since Black Friday and it is the best TV I have ever owned...You really can't beat a Vizio for the money, I also have a 55" LG TV that cost me a couple thousand more than my Vizio and the picture quality is identical...I never watch the 55" anymore because it is actually to big, the 42" is perfect...Now I never really watch anything in 3D unless there is a sporting event being broadcast live on ESPN3D but the Normal HD picture quality is absolutely amazing...I bought the bundle and Walmart still offers it for $698.00, it's an absolute steal and I would strongly recommend it to anyone...The bundle comes with your 3D glasses the 6ft HDMI cable to hook it up as well as your HD Blue Ray 3D DVD Player that you will need, there are quite a few movies being produced in 3D now that you can watch at home...If your looking for something a little bigger they offer a 47" Bundle that comes with a Home Theater System and a 6ft HDMI Cable for $1,000...
