June 1, 201214 yr Reds 2010 record when they made the playoffs W L 12 11 April 18 11 May 14 13 June 14 12 July 19 8 August 12 15 September Reds record so far this year, almost scary how similar the seasons are playing out thus far...I wouldn't be mad if the trend continued all year because I think this year it would be enough to squeak into the playoffs just like it was in '10...However I would love the Reds to repeat what they just did in May and then they can follow their '10 trend, that would surely get them into the postseason :thumb: I think the Reds have a better team this year then they did in 10' just based on the pitching staff alone... 11 11 April 17 11 May

I think this part of the trade could turn out to be a bad move by the Reds. Switch hitting catchers don't come long everyday, especially ones that can rake.
June 1, 201214 yr I'll be highly disappointed if the Reds don't sweep the Astros. 3-3 will be a disappointing road trip given who the Red's are playing.
June 1, 201214 yr Sweeping any team on the road is difficult. The best teams in the league aren't usually many games over .500 on the road every year. 96 win Brewers were 39-42 on the road last year.

Agreed I'm sure he sealed the deal for the Padres...There aren't many very good switch hitters in general let alone catchers...I can't even name but maybe 2 good switch hitting catchers of late; Victor Martinez, Carlos Santana and then idk...He is definitely a rare talent...
